Marcia Brandwynne, Certified Life Coach
Marcia Brandwynne has had a long and distinguished career as a television news and talk professional with a diverse and exceptional background. Her spontaneous style as an anchor and reporter for the ABC and CBS owned and operated stations in San Francisco and Los Angeles, brought her acclaim as a singular personality in broadcast news. Her warm conversational style of interviewing has been the hallmark of her career on television.

Along with her local news duties, the award-winning journalist has appeared as a correspondent on "Dateline, NBC" and as a talk show host on major network radio stations in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. She has hosted numerous television specials and town halls, filling in for Noah Adams on National Public Radio's prestigious news magazine, "All Thing's Considered". In addition to her extensive on air experience, she pursued producing news and entertainment - working with Norman Lear to develop network comedies. As Executive Producer of Carol Burnett's Kalola Productions, she produced network series and specials for the comedienne, created the story and was Executive Producer of the feature movie "Made in America" starring Ted Danson and Whoopi Goldberg. For many years, Brandwynne had responsibility for both the content and management of the news department at Tribune Broadcasting's KTLA, the most highly rated news programming in Los Angeles. Additionally, she was called upon by Tribune to consult with their stations in other cities to improve news coverage and content. She continues to train on-air talent for Tribune.

Recently, in a career transition of her own, Marcia has spent several years training to become a Certified Life Coach. Her specialty is in positive psychology and adult transitional development. She is trained in Dr. Martin Seligman's Authentic Happiness theories, incorporating the latest approaches to finding happiness, passion and purpose within oneself. She received her coaching certification at the Hudson Institute in Santa Barbara. She has a private coaching practice and volunteers her time at the San Fernando Valley Counseling Clinic where she is training to become a paraprofessional therapist.
