Sonics Get New Name In Oklahoma City
To be called the "Thunder"

The team formerly known as the Seattle Supersonics will have a new name in Oklahoma City.
According to an Oklahoma City tv station (KOCO) the team will be called the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Team officials are not commenting on the name just yet.
However, they will say more than 16,000 people have signed up to a season ticket request list for Oklahoma City's new NBA team.
