Independent Developers To Sell Games For X-Box 360
Can keep most of profits

July 23, 2008, 4:19 AM PDT

Gamers will soon have more titles to choose from on their X-Box 360's.

Software giant Microsoft decided to let independent developers sell video games for the X-Box 360 console.

The move will let the private developers keep most of the profits starting this holiday season.

Developers that belong to Microsoft's creators club can submit games for peer review.

If they pass, the games will be sold on a website called X-Box live.
