Darren Dedo is a reporter and backup anchor for Q13 FOX News at Ten.

Darren is a Seattle native who graduated from Ingraham High School and attended the University of Washington. He returned to Western Washington to join Q13 FOX News in May 2005, after working as main news anchor at KOKI/FOX 23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Darren has worn several hats in the newsroom. In Tulsa, he was also a consumer reporter; at WJTV in Jackson, Mississippi, he worked as morning news anchor and crime reporter; in Roswell, New Mexico, Darren worked at KBIM as executive producer and evening news anchor; and he started his TV career as reporter/anchor/producer at KEYC in Mankato, Minnesota.
Darren won an Emmy Award for Best Entertainment Program for a series on the paranormal dealing with Civil War mysteries, haunted houses, and haunted riverboats.

He once had the privilege of playing 18 holes of golf with future Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders in the Jim Thorpe Golf Classic; Darren is proud to say that he shot better than Sanders.

In his spare time, Darren likes to hang out with his 4 kids and to go cheer on the Mariners, Seahawks, and Sonics.
