Q13 FOX News anchor Mark Wright returned home to Seattle in 2003. Mark grew up in rural Whatcom County where he developed a love of the outdoors and an appreciation for hard work. From elementary school through high school, Mark worked on his uncles' organic vegetable farm during the summers. The farm is still in operation today, supplying vegetables to local farmers markets.
Mark is a graduate of the Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University in Pullman. He began his career as a reporter, working for public radio stations in Pullman, Boise and Spokane. Mark's television career has taken him from Spokane to Salt Lake City to Seattle. While in Salt Lake City, Mark anchored the popular "Good Day Utah" on FOX 13. Mark is a two-time Emmy Award winner for his work as a reporter and documentary producer.
Mark's hobbies include golf, playing the drums, gardening and cooking.
His favorite time is spent with his wife and two sons.
