Parella Lewis
Parella Lewis is weather anchor for Q13 FOX News at Ten on Friday and Saturday nights.

Before coming to Western Washington to join Q13 FOX News in 2007, Parella spent three years in Indianapolis, forecasting every type of severe weather imaginable, including the infamous "Race Day" tornado outbreak during the Indy 500 race in 2004. Later that same year, Indiana broke records with a winter storm that dumped more than 30" of snow in just a few hours, and Parella was there to cover it.

During her career, Parella has forecast and experienced almost every type of severe weather imaginable, including tornadoes, hurricanes, ice storms, heavy snow, severe flooding, and extreme heat. Prior to her arrival in the Northwest and even before her move to the Midwest, Parella lived in the heart of Tornado Alley, where, along with other duties, she became the primary "storm chaser" for the NBC station in Little Rock, Arkansas. During her time there, Parella's most memorable day was May 16, 2003, when 13 tornadoes touched down in central Arkansas in a single day.

Parella was raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and began her weather career at the city's ABC station. She is a member of the National Weather Association.

When she's not covering the weather, Parella enjoys volunteering in her community. She has been awarded the coveted Blue Knight award from Mothers Against Drunk Driving and was named Volunteer of the Year by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

In her spare time, Parella enjoys writing, singing, and playing music and enjoying the great outdoors of the West Coast.
