Q13 FOX News reporter Roxeanne Vainuku has crossed the Cascades a few times in her TV career. She has worked as an anchor and reporter for KIMA in Yakima, Washington , as well as KULR in Billings, Montana.
Roxeanne started her career behind the camera , editing video in the middle of the night for KSL Television in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her love for writing drove her to the producer's seat at KUTV in Salt Lake.
Roxeanne's career is packed with memorable moments. She's sat in on an open heart surgery, rode a real rodeo bull ,and has put many people in the hot seat as an investigative reporter.
Roxeanne's work has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists several times. As a student at the University of Utah, she received honors in the Hearst National Journalism Championships, often called the "Pulitzer Prize" of college journalism.
In her free time, Roxeanne loves exploring the beautiful Seattle area with her family and her Yorkie Coco.
