Maximum Living Organizing Ideas Part 1
December 13, 2007
There is never a better time of year than today to start getting organized, it is a process that requires a plan of action, a plan that is as much about changing old habits as it is about discovering new ideas, it requires both to be successful and what I like to do to insure the success is start slow with a few ideas, get those under my belt and then adopt more and by adding a few every week, you will see change starting to happen before you even know it…so lets get started.

Jewelry Mirror
Organize your jewelry: Forget the tangles of bracelets and chains, bobbles and beads in the jewelry case…opt for making the jewelry mirror, its attractive, easy to make and easy to use.
Jewelry Mirror
Organize your jewelry: Forget the tangles of bracelets and chains, bobbles and beads in the jewelry case…opt for making the jewelry mirror, its attractive, easy to make and easy to use.
Directions: Get a mirror that you like, you can find them inexpensively at your local one stop shop or discount store. You want to get a size that will easily fit on a space on your wall about the size of an average picture. Clean the glass with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. Lay the mirror down and lay your jewelry out onto the mirror for positioning. Next take the hooks and the small adhesive strips and follow directions on the package, placing the hooks on the mirror. Hang your necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings on the hooks and hang the mirror up on the wall…easy as that and no more tangles!
Room by Room Spiral Notebook Inventory
Take a spiral notebook and inventory each item in every room of your house. Making a sheet with the following headings before you inventory: Item History Cost Who it goes to
Once you have this all listed out you need to put it into a safe fireproof container. Another other idea is to video tape each room and the contents in it, including the contents of drawers, this will really help to eliminate stress if ever a disaster or theft were to strike your home…you will be ready! If you don't have a video camera, you can rent them online with home delivery for generally under $40.00.
