2/14/08 - Maximum Living Flowers Turn one bunch into a Bouquet!
February 14, 2008

During this special time of year flowers are a great way for us to show others how much we care for them, but by no means does a small bouquet ever have to show the measure of our love and affection. So I am going to show you how to turn an ordinary or small bouquet into a full and vibrant one for everyday!

Supplies:
One to three bunches of store bought flowers Cut greenery from the outdoor (Ferns, branches, evergreens, bamboo)

Directions:
Take your bunch or bunches of flowers and cut off the paper wrapping the flowers. Make sure to do this carefully so it can be used to re wrap your finished bouquet if you're not putting it into a vase.

Next lay out your flowers in groupings tallest to shortest and separate out all greenery. Now go out into your yard or a place where greenery is available to pick and find nice pieces of greenery that you would want in the bouquet.

Make sure to cut the pieces as long as possible, they can be cut down to perfect size once arranged.

Now that you have everything together, arrange your tallest flowers first, keeping them in the center of your bouquet as you arrange the flowers, next put in your contrasting colors and sizes around the center of your bouquet working in a circular direction, periodically add in your greenery but keep in mind that it can dominate a bouquet, so be careful with it. Once you have all of your flowers placed and arranged so that one is not crowding out or hiding another, cut all stems off at the bottom evenly at a 45 degree angle.

Wrap your bouquet back up and tie with your favorite ribbon and your ready to make a delivery! Remember, colored and shapely sticks, twigs and branches make for a perfect addition to any bouquet, adding drama and visual interest.

It's just that easy and remember…YOU CAN DO It! Randy
