Whether you're having a dinner party or want to be inspired to have one, the following ideas will definitely help you to create a beautiful eco friendly table top the Maximum Living Way!
Ok, so here is what I did. I found a local supplier of recycled glass in Seattle Washington , called Bedrock. They are unique in the fact that they create all sorts of items from melting down old bottles and windows, to broken stained glass and old glass subway tiles and they make, create and repurpose these items into fun new pieces that you can use for everyday living. I was able to find dinner plates, bowls, tiles and serving plates that were all the foundational inspiration for setting the Ultimate Green Maximum Living Table.
Glass that was refined into colored powder and crystals were the inspiration for my centerpiece. I took some of my mismatched wine goblets and used them for votive candleholders, there is no need to keep them hidden anymore all because they were mismatched or an incomplete set. Mismatched silverware and tableware from garage sales and thrift stores can really help to round out the creative elements of the table. Sea shells repurposed as napkin holders and old glass wine and water bottles made into wine goblets are just of few of the items I made for the table.
So watch the video and get started now, throw a Maximum Living Green Party this weekend, you will have so much fun and it will make you feel great knowing you actually made a difference in reducing your carbon footprint.
Remember…YOU CAN DO IT!
